THE SWITCHING PROCESS

   1.  You submit an application. You remove any PIC (line) freeze at your local phone company.

   2.  Pioneer Telephone checks your credit score. 

   3.  If there are no credit problems, Pioneer Telephone notifies your local phone company to change their computer
       (switch) to route your long distance calls to Pioneers' carrier network . They use a PIC number for this.

   4.  When your local phone company makes that PIC change then your long distance phone service is
       switched to Pioneer Telephone. Your local phone company may charge you a one time fee to make this change.
       You should NOT attempt to have the PIC number changed yourself unless and until
       Pioneer tells you that you need to do so and provides you with the correct PIC number.

   5.  Let the system work; it is the fastest way to be switched.

   After you are sure that you are on Pioneers' service it is advisable to call your old long distance company
   and cancel your account with them. You should also follow-up with a fax or letter.

   Also, after you are certain that you are switched to Pioneer Telephone you ought to call your local phone company and
   put a PIC freeze on your line(s) to prevent anyone from switching (slamming) you without your permission.
